Kevin Windham announced his retirement from racing early in the 2013 season, and though he has been absent from the race track, his blistering speed, super-smooth riding style, and great personality will not soon be forgotten. K-Dub fans around the world rejoiced when Windham was announced as Ronnie Mac’s replacement on the Puerto Rican Motocross of Nations team a few weeks ago, and rumor has it that the multi-time Supercross and National winner has been training hard for the October 6-7 race at Red Bud Track N’ Trail in Buchanan, Michigan. “I’m basically off the couch with six weeks to prepare for the biggest and toughest race in the world,” said Windham. “But I am going to be as prepared as I can possibly be! It’s an honor to do the right thing and help raise funds for Puerto Rico.”

Stay tuned for an interview with Windham later today, but for now, enjoy some photos of his Richard Sterling-build 2019 Honda CRF450R race bike! Video to follow…
