With Cooper Webb sidelined for an extended period of time with fractures to his tibia and fibula, the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing team have announced they will bring Josh Hill back under the tent for the final two rounds of the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross Series in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. Hill and the team had a one-race deal in Seattle, when Justin Barcia was still out with injury, and Hill finished twenty-first. Shortly after this, Hill was loaned a YZ450F practice bike from Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing to ride around Southern California.
This is part of Hill’s current agreement with Monster Energy, as he recently stepped back into an athlete role with the brand and plans to race at select events around the world with backing from the energy drink giant.
With @cooperwebb_2 injured, we decided to tap @JosHill75 for the final two rounds of the @MonsterEnergy @SupercrossLIVE season. #yamaha #bLUcRU #victorYZone #Supercross #SupercrossLIVE #DropTheGate #SXonFOX #SX #monsterenergy pic.twitter.com/OcsIUJmymR
