The start of each new race season is a busy time for everyone involved in the sport, particularly the mechanics. After months of testing to find the perfect setting, each wrench builds a brand-new machine from the ground up for their rider, a process that takes hours to complete. Once finished and run through a quick break-in session, every component is again given a once-over before hitting the track for race day. While at Arlington, we asked Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki mechanic Justin Shantie to document the process, what happens between races, and areas everyone should pay close attention to on their machines.
