Former Arenacross powerhouse team TiLUBE Racing is slated to make the jump to Monster Energy AMA Supercross in a few short weeks. The team, TiLUBE/ FLY Racing, Brown Motorsports is preparing to do battle in the 250cc West Coast Lites series starting January 3rd at Anaheim Stadium.

The team consists of riders Alex Martin # 144 from Millville, Minnesota and Ben Evans # 235 from Boise, Idaho. Both young riders will be making their Pro Supercross debut at Anaheim after coming off impressive amateur and early Pro careers.

Martin, now 19 years old, raced a few of the final rounds of the AMA Motocross championships this last summer after a solid amateur career that saw him in the front of the pack at nearly every major amateur national. Martin, whose parents owns Spring Creek MX Park in Millville, Minnesota, finished 14th in the second moto at his home race and first ever Pro national. Martin has been looking forward to racing Supercross for years. "I've grown up watching Supercross on TV and I'm excited to get my chance to prove myself," said Martin of Supercross, "It's my turn to work hard and see what I can make of it."

Evans, now 19 years old, also had a successful amateur career and even has a Loretta Lynn's title to his name. In his short time in the pro ranks Evans has already experienced some success. Evans finished in the top 20 in a moto at Steel City this year and he has had some impressive finishes in Canada including a win and several podiums. He is most recently coming off a win at the Stuttgart Supercross in Germany. Evans is looking forward to riding Supercross as well. "I've loved racing motocross since I was a little kid," Evans said, "now I love racing Supercross and I'm thankful I am able to ride at this level."

The team will be riding Honda CRF250's and will be competing in all of the West Coast 250 rounds. The bikes will have motor work from Allan Brown, former team manager and organizer of Moto XXX and owner of Brown Motorsports. "I look forward to working with Ben and Alex, Brown commented. "Both riders have shown great potential to become top professional riders.  After helping the TiLube Arenacross team win some races in 2008, I am excited about what the team can do in Supercross."

Race Tech will be returning to team's program again this year, doing all of the suspension work. "Race Tech is excited to work with the new upcoming riders and we look forward to the 2009 season," said ," Ronnie Williams of Race Tech.
