With the confirmation that Broc Tickle’s B Sample had tested positive for the same substance on the WADA Prohibited Substance list, Red Bull KTM has ended Tickle’s current contract with the team.
Tickle has spent recent weeks riding and testing with the team in hopes that the sample would not come back with a positive result of the substance, but today’s news ends his time with the team. As of now, it’s uncertain what Tickle will do next, as he’s provisionally suspended from competition that is overseen by WADA and USADA, which includes the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

It was released today by the FIM that Broc Tickle's initial positive test from San Diego Supercross was confirmed by the "B sample" test. As a result, KTM Motorsports hereby makes the painful decision to terminate its agreement with Tickle, effective immediately.
Roger De Coster, KTM Race Director SX/MX: "We've had a good relationship with Broc over the last six months and he was a great guy to work with. However, KTM's strong company policy gives no room for any other solution but to terminate the contract. We wish Broc the best in the future."
UPDATE MAY 16TH 8:40 AM | Broc Tickle has released a statement regarding KTM’s decision to terminate his contract, which says that he appreciates their time together in 2018 and will continue to work on his case with the FIM.
