Encinitas, CA – Troy Lee Designs/GoPro/Red Bull/KTM rider Jessy Nelson suffered a crash in the second moto of the Pro Motocross Nationals at Unadilla on 8/13/16. He is currently under medical care at a hospital in Cooperstown NY. It is still too early to know the extent of his injuries or how lasting they will be. Earlier today Jessy released an update via his Instagram account: “At this time I have limited feeling from my waist down. The hope is that after the swelling goes down, I will get some more feeling back. Thank you all for your support, kind thoughts and prayers. I will keep you posted in the next few days!” He will have a long hard road ahead of him.

R2R has set up a fundraising campaign to help with the medical expenses. Please go to to help and donate. Kind words, positive thoughts, prayers, and all donations are all welcome. Anything will help and all donations are tax deductible. For more information, ways to help, or questions please go to
