It has been a tough month of injuries for the GEICO Honda squad. Christian Craig’s recent broken thumb took him out of the West Coast running, and now Chase Sexton’s broken collarbone sustained in a mountain bike crash will delay him to the 250 East Coast Supercross series as well. With this news comes the announcement of Cameron McAdoo filling in for the 250 West Coast series on a bike he’s very familiar with. Fresh off some off-season overseas racing success, McAdoo is the perfect choice to fill in as he’s ridden for them the past few years. This pairs McAdoo with RJ Hampshire on the West Coast, and leaves Christian Craig and Chase Sexton racing the East Coast. The unfortunate news that Jeremy Martin will have to undergo another surgery puts him on the sidelines to heal all of 2019. Let’s hope this is the last of these injury updates before the season begins!
