It’s been nearly four weeks since Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing’s Weston Peick suffered horrific injuries at the Paris Supercross, but after undergoing three major surgeries that totaled over 14 hours and spending over two weeks in a French hospital, Peick and his fiancee Kelly Cleland are finally home in Menifee, California. Peick has a long road ahead of him, but being the warrior that he is, he is determined to race again…sooner than later. We were able to visit with Weston and Kelly this afternoon, and they shared their story about what has been the most eventful month in both their lives.
Though Peick has a good insurance policy; the costs of foreign medical services, flights, and lodging for his fiancee and father Louie to be by his side, are not completely covered. Road 2 Recovery has established a fund to help Peick offset these massive expenses. If you can, please CLICK HERE to help one of the good guys out in a time of need.
