Anaheim 1

The week leading up to Anaheim 1 was extremely busy chasing up and finalizing loose ends, but come Saturday all the hard work put in by so many people finally came together to create what turned out to be a great team. The set up was professional, the bikes were the best they could be and the riders were ready. After track walk both Michael & Sean came back with a positive attitude and they were ready to race. Practice went great with both boys qualifying into the night program.

Sean’s first heat race didn’t go to plan, he mz9p1542got a bad start forcing him to chase his way through the pack finishing a disappointing 11th which had him going to the LCQ. Going into the LCQ Sean knew he had to finish 1 or 2, fortunately he was able to chase down jeff Alessi for the win which of corse put him into the 250 main.

Michael’s heat race started out great he was sitting in 10th working his way forward when he had an unfortunate crash coming out of he first set of whoops which also caused him to go to the LCQ. His LCQ race wasn’t what he had hoped, a bad start forced him to start at the back and work his way through. Although every lap he was making his way closer to the front it wasn’t enough to make the top 2 which made him miss out the 450 main.

With a second to last gate pick Sean was able to sneak through to a mid pack start. He rode his way up to 8th before a few mistakes through out the 15 lap final pushed him back to a 12th place finish. Overall Sean was pleased with his riding and he gain some confidence for next round.

The whole team is looking for better results at round 2 in Phoenix this weekend. Once again this team wouldn’t be where it is without all the support of it’s great sponsors so we thank you.
