Spending days at the same track would have to getting tiring. The repetition of logging lap after lap on the same circuit, hitting the same jumps, and seeing the same people seems like it would make the already daunting task of preparing for the Nationals even more mundane. Add in the brutal heat that is hanging over Southern California with a downed water truck and you have the recipe for hell on Earth. But riders like the Stewart brothers, Villopoto, Weimer, Seely, and Cunningham on true professionals and know that the best preparation happens when things are at their worst. They were among the handful of riders charging around Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park this morning, and Randy Roberts once again put their laps on film.
