Tell me a little bit about your company… Though it’s not typically a motocross company; you’ve broken through the moto industry…

I started in 2006 for the fun of it, something different and cool to do and then realized it could be something bigger. Epoxy It grew fairly easily.  In 2015, we did Jessy Nelson’s floor and it just blew up from there. So basically, my last four years has been doing floors within the motocross industry, I’ve done work for pretty much everybody. We sponsor all my buddies I race with, Adam Enticknap and Star Racing Yamaha. It's pretty amazing, I am super blessed and grateful for everyone that has used our service and helped my brand, we’re growing, and I’m pretty excited for what the future holds for it.

How long have you been racing and what led you to chose it?

This is actually the second time I’ve ever raced a TWMXRS event which is stupid, I know. And my friends have been trying to get me to race these for four years, so I’m like, “I’m 40! We might as well start now!”

Do you participate in any other sports or have any other hobbies?

Yeah, I played professional golf for a long time and then I took up moto after that to kinda get away from the stress of it. Those are the only two sports that I’m really into.

We’re at Milestone today, do you have any favorite obstacles on this track or track favorites?

I’m a big fan of Cahuilla Creek MX and Pala Raceway, but Milestone is probably the best I’ve ever seen since I’ve been riding here. I’m pretty stoked. As far as obstacles I love jumping because I haven't mastered it yet.

Tell me about your bike and why you chose it and what have you done to make it work well for you?

I’m 6’4″ like 205 pounds and I think Yamaha suits me better because I think they fit a taller guy better. It's the most comfortable bike I've ever been on and that goes a long way, I’ve done everything you can to it without making it a true race bike. The engine is like the only thing I haven’t touched, It’s fast enough stock, but It looks good!

What would you rather do, holeshot a race and run away or come from, behind to win?

Come from behind to win, I like underdogs.

Who is the biggest influence in your racing?

My friends! Like I said, they’ve been trying to get me to come out forever.

What is your favorite thing about being a motocross racer?

Not being specific on a motocross racer, but the whole aspect of this sport has such a big family aspect. I call it the #epoxyitfam It’s cool to just get out with all the boys and when it’s not hot, usually all the wives are here with the babies.

Where can we find your amazing floorwork?
