On Friday night during the 2017 TWMX Trans Am by MTA Distributing, we will host a forum addressing the unique topics that affect every rider when they take to the track for a practice session or race moto. The topics discussed will be broad and detailed, with influential members of the industry sharing their ideas to those that attend in person at Glen Helen Raceway or that stream the seminar through Facebook Live at 5 PM PST.
Robert Reisinger, Co-Founder & Director of Engineering at 6D Helmets will be hand to discuss concussion awareness and brain protection, as these are quickly becoming important topics to all forms of sport around the world. We’re pleased to have 6D has a sponsor of the 2017 TWMX Trans Am and Reisinger will take time to share ideas on the principles of modern helmet design, testing that will result in improved protection of the brain, and 6D’s proprietary Omni-Directional Suspension technology.
A highly-qualified group of riders and coaches will also take part in the Friday night Forum for aspiring amateur stars. Kyle Macias will share his knowledge of gym training, while multi-time champion Ryan Villopoto, GEICO Honda rider Christian Craig, and KTM R&D test rider Mike Sleeter are set to share their experiences from racing at the highest level of the sport.
The Forum will take place in the famous trackside barn on Friday night, and begins at 5 PM PST. For those unable to make the trip, it will be streamed live and in full via Facebook Live. Viewers in person and online will be able to interact and ask questions to the panel.
