TWMXRS El’ Dorado Series | Round Three | Perris Raceway
We have now reached the halfway point in the 2018 El' Dorado Series, as we made our third stop of the series at the iconic Perris Raceway this past weekend. Perris Raceway has been a part of the TWMXRS since the very beginning, however the excitement level leading up to this weekends event seemed to reach an all-time high with the facility now being ran by Austin Prida and his crew. With some great weather and an enjoyable new track layout, round three of the El' Dorado Series was a day for the books.
With nearly 400 TWMXRS racers lined up to do battle, round three definitely held some tense battles. However, despite the talented competition Jason Potter managed to dominate both the Pro Open (125-450) and 30+ Pro classes with ease. And to make his race day even more impressive, Jason raced his classes back to back; crossing the finish line and heading right back to the starting line for the next gate-drop. Props to the TWMXRS regular on such an impressive ride.
The TWMXRS is constantly growing and gaining new members, as we are Southern California's premiere race series. Brandon Ray is one unfamiliar rider to the series, though he has been making his name known at each round of the 2018 El' Dorado Series. The racer out of Fremont, CA put on an impressive ride at Perris Raceway, as he dominated both the 125cc Open and Open 85-150F/Supermini classes. It was hard to keep our eyes off the number 19 machine, as Brandon showed off his style and threw some pretty impressive whips, thanks for the show B-Ray!
The 85cc and Supermini classes are always stacked full of talent and exciting battles, and round three of the El' Dorado Series proved to be no different. Brock Bennett managed to fight through the competition and put his name on top of both the 12-13 years 85/150F and Big Wheel Open 85/150F classes. After an almost perfect day, the young ripper out of Bakersfield, CA went home with four moto wins and two second place finishes.
