The 2018 TWMXRS West Coast Open Series brought us back to Riverside, CA this past weekend, as round three of the series took place at Milestone MX Park. As the gates opened, nearly 500 racers made their way into the favorited facility for an exciting day of racing. With two thrilling track layouts and sunny blue skies, round three of the West Coast Open Series was destined to be another great day at the races. Each round of the TWMXRS holds a select amount of riders who’s performances stand out amongst the rest. At round three of the West Coast Open Series, Jeremy Fappani put together a picture perfect race day. The youngster is a regular to the TWMXRS and often seen towards the front of the pack, however his six-moto win streak at round three was practically impossible to ignore. Jeremy was unbeatable throughout the race day, on both his KTM 85SX and 65SX, as he executed perfect race after perfect race. Congrats on a solid day, Jeremy! The West Coast Open Series has held some exciting races and round three proved to be no different, as the talent stacked Pro classes created some great battles, once again. Though, this weekend it was Jeff Loop who came out on top in both the Pro 450F and Pro Open classes. Even when challenged with a first turn crash, Loop managed to stay consistent and snag a second place finish. Despite two talent filled classes, the San Bernardino, CA resident won three out of his four motos and took home both overall class victories. It is often said that a rider improves race after race, which is a great reason to race as much as possible. Based on that theory, Rocco Morse is racing and riding better than ever, as the young ripper entered four different classes and raced a total of eight races, last weekend. As if eight separate races weren’t enough, Rocco raced two motos back-to-back – having barely enough time to make it back to the starting line from the finish line. Though, the kid out of Burbank, CA didn’t just race four classes, he also took home the overall win in both the Big Wheel Open 85/150F and Open 85-150F/Supermini classes.
