After his stunning performances at Red Bud and Millville on his privateer Honda CRF450R, Cole Thompson got the call from Star-Valli Yamaha to jump on their YZ250F. Having only spent a couple of days on his new bike, Thompson is excited and ready to compete against the 250 class at Washougal.

With only two races left in the WMX series, Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Honda's Tarah Gieger sits behind the series point's leader, Jessica Patterson, by only nine points. Patterson underwent surgery last week to repair her broken hand, but she still plans on coming back at Washougal for the seventh round.

Ever since Wil Hahn debuted his Geico Honda at Anaheim Supercross in 2011, a string of unfortunate injuries has kept him from completing a full season indoors and out. However, with five rounds left in the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Series, Hahn has been consistently turning in top-10 finishes, and now sits in sixth place in the championship points standings.
