Just a few short weeks ago, the Freestyle MX community was struck with tragedy on the evening of September 8th. While practicing at Fitzland, Paul Smith under-rotated a backflip resulting in a devastating crash that ultimately lead to his passing. “Smitty” will be dearly missed in the motocross community, but he will be remembered as a legend for being the oldest person to flip a motorcycle. To show his support Jimmy Fitzpatrick put together a ride day of sorts last week at his home in Temecula, CA. The afternoon ride day began down at Fitzpatrick’s FMX playground and was then followed by a BBQ with friends and family. Everyone from Josh Hill and Robbie Maddison to Jarryd McNeil and Nate Adams came out to show their love and support, so for a glimpse at some of the action check out this photo gallery.
