In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We'll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
It’s cool seeing rippers like Sean Collier hop on anything with two wheels and hold the throttle wide open. Normally Collier is aboard a modern 450 four-stroke or his dad’s old monster of a dirt bike—a fire-breathing 1997 Kawasaki KX500 two-stroke—but we recently had the chance to witness him blast berms at Milestone MX Park on a vintage CZ. Cool? Damned right! The funny thing about this photo is that Collier didn’t think he was throwing any dirt as he twisted the old throttle as far as it would go, but the photo obviously tells a different story!
