“The Bangers are back after missing Detroit last weekend! I got super sick on Friday night before the race and tried to tough it out Saturday, but I could hardly stand up. I decided to head home and rest up for St. Louis, one of my favorite races on the schedule. The dirt is always killer in STL with a lot of traction that the riders love, and this year was no different. The Edward Jones Dome also has one of the larger stadium floors so the track is usually longer and more unique than most rounds. The track shaped up nicely throughout the day with a bunch of ruts, and I think it was one of the best tracks we’ve had all year. It’s unfortunate that so many of the top racers are out—the series always tends to thin out around this time, but I feel like there are a lot more racers out now than in years past. The East Coast 250SX riders have a few weeks off as we head back to the West Coast for two weeks, but first we have a much needed weekend off! See you in two weeks!” —TWMX Photographer, Ryne Swanberg
