Akira Narita’s works Honda CRF450R…one of many amazing bikes we saw in Japan.

Look what the Easter Bunny dropped off, one day early!

The 2015 MFJ All Japan National MX Championship kicked off this weekend in Kumamoto, Japan, at Kyushu Motorsports Park, and as always, TWMX was on hand to check out all the sights and sounds…and new bikes! Plenty of trick stuff was found at this year’s kickoff, including a 2016 Kawasaki KX450F and 2016 Yamaha YZ450F, and we also caught wind of the 2017 Honda CRF450R, which will be all new.

Motocross in Japan is like nowhere else in the world. Home of four of the big five motorcycle manufacturers, the sport in Japan is surprisingly small in comparison to other countries, mostly due to the lack of open riding land and the astronomical expense. Still, there’s nowhere else where you will see as many trick, awe-inspiring parts, or meet nicer people…

This post is divided up into five pages, so grab a frosty beverage and enjoy!
