In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We’ll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
The 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship is rapidly coming to an end, as the final and 12th round of the series is slated to take place this Saturday in Crawfordsville, IN at the Ironman National. This outdoor season has been one for the books thanks in part to the very tight points chase in the premier class, but likely one of the most exciting aspects of the series thus far have been the breakout rides from several of the 450 class contenders including RCH/Yoshimura/Suzuki's Justin Bogle.
The #19 tasted victory for the first time in the 450 class earlier this season at the Thunder Valley National after taking a moto win, and then followed it up with his career-first overall at Budds Creek just a few weeks later with a 1-3 finish. Bogle's first win of his career couldn't have come at a better time, either, as the RCH racing team will close their doors at the end of the season ultimately leaving the OK native without a ride for 2018. However, I believe that Bogle's decision to move to FL to train with the Carmichael's at the GOAT farm was indeed a good one, and it's evident in his results. Let's see if Bogle has anything else up his sleeve for the Ironman National this weekend in Crawfordsville, IN.
