In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We'll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
Ever wonder where Fitzland gets its name? Wonder no more—today’s Photo Of The Day is of the Fitzland proprietor himself, longtime freestyle motocross rider Jimmy Fitzpatrick. Fitz uses his 54-acre vineyard property in Temecula, California, as an FMX training facility for his Fitz Army riders, as well as a stomping grounds for his friends who are in town and looking to hit some of the ramps or natural terrain jumps that his backyard features. But the host doesn’t keep the famed FMX playground on point only for his friends, and whenever we’re out at Fitzland snapping photos, Fitzpatrick will be out throwing down for the cameras, too, like here with this heel clicker flip.
