In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We'll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory...
For any photographer who’s shot at Fitzland, the scenery behind the main ramp jump on Fitzpatrick’s property is one of the easiest backgrounds to identify in a photo. While images with the iconic vineyard landscape off in the distance are a dime a dozen and plastered across social media, it’s just too good of a composition to ignore, and it’s impossible not to point your lens in that direction when you’re there. Adam Jones is a master at backflip combos, but in this shot he threw one of his not-so-common whips in front of that very landscape for my selection for “Photo Of The Day.”
