In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We'll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…
Josh Hill’s talent on two-wheels is incredible. The Northwest native ended his racing career a few years ago but spends plenty of time in the saddle thanks to a job with Monster Energy. Over the last few months, Hill has filmed parts for Moto 8 The Movie, The Doonies 3, and side project dubbed Don’t Watch, raced the Alta Motors Red Shift MX electric bike in its competition debut, and filled out the roster at the Monster Energy High Rollers FMX competition.
Hill’s BMX roots are easy to see, as he throws a full-size 450cc motorcycle around like a twenty-inch bicycle. During the practice session at the High Rollers FMX contest, Hill helped riders figure out the technique for take-off on the quarter-pipe hit.
