In between races, we took some time to browse our hard drives and look at photos taken throughout the year. We'll highlight each shot in a daily post, with the image sized to fit your computer screen or smartphone and described with a small backstory…

If we had to give a rider an award for bad luck, Trey Canard has to be pretty high up there on the list. It’s tough seeing any rider on the gate go through setback after setback, but that’s been the cards dealt for Canard as of late. With just 5 of the 11 rounds completed thus far, Canard definitely has the speed and hopes to break out of the string of minor injuries and setbacks in the upcoming final rounds. No matter what way you look at it the #41 can be a contender at any round, and Trey Canard is always one of the friendliest riders in the paddock to the fans and us media. This photo was shot after Toronto at Tim Ferr’y house – Canard’s bike sat idle as he was still foggy after a hit to the head. It’s nice to see him back on it, so let’s see what Detroit brings for him and the Red Bull KTM Squad!
