At Monster Energy Cup there’s always at least one guy who’s going huge in practice—last year that guy was Justin Hill. The 250 class rider was racing a KTM 450 SX-F for the first time as a pro, and the only thing you could think on that day was how dangerous he’ll be when he finally makes the move up to the premiere class for good. He wasn’t only fast as hell, he made going fast as hell look easy. The younger of the Hill brothers flicked the big-bore 450 sideways almost effortlessly lap after lap throughout the day’s practice sessions, and that’s when I snapped this pic of him, which eventually found its way into the pages of TWMX as my third poster for the magazine.
