SUPERCROSS

Congratulations to Aaron Plessinger and his Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha team for taking the overall win in the 250SX West division at Round 2 of the Monster Energy Supercross in Houston, TX. Plessinger and his teammates rely on the Bell Moto-9 Flex… he is also the new points leader in the series.

Joey Savatgy had a strong race in Houston, leading several laps until late in the race when Plessinger got by him. Savatgy finished 2nd on the night and is 2nd in the points race.

Mitchell Oldenburg showed the Houston crowd he is capable of a podium finish by taking 2nd in his heat race and finishing 6th overall in the Main.

Factory Yamaha’s Cooper Webb looks fast and has finished well in his Heat races but hasn’t been able to put it together for the Main events… yet! No doubt “Coop” will figure it out and will be battling for a podium position soon.

OFF-ROAD

Trifecta! Kacy Martinez Coy, Lauren Woods and Britney Gallegos dominated the Women’s Pro division at Round 1 of the Big 6 Grand Prix series held this weekend in Adelanto, CA. All three ladies have been part of the Bell Helmet family for several years and sport the Moto-9 Flex helmet.

Factory Husqvarna’s Dalton Shirey navigates the rail inside the EnduroCross section of the course. Dalton had been battling the flu all week but dug deep to take 2nd overall in the Pro Main event. Bell Helmets’ Kailub Russell and Justin Wallis finished 5th and 6th respectively.

Lauren Woods piloted her KTM to a 2nd in the Women’s Pro Class.

EXTREME ENDURO

Cody Webb continued his win streak by finishing first at the Revlimiter Extreme Enduro held this weekend in Decatur, TX. Webb posted a perfect score with 1-1-1 Moto finishes.

ARENACROSS

Babbitt’s Kawasaki’s Gavin Faith took the overall win for the second week in a row in the AMA Arenacross. Faith won both motos at the Worcester round and is now headed to Pennsylvania for Round 3 to see if he can continue his streak.

RALLY

The 2018 edition of the Dakar Rally has definitely taken its toll. Last year’s winner and early leader of this year’s event, Sam Sunderlin, is out with a back injury. The Dakar is now headed into the 10th stage with Bell Helmets’ Toby Price holding down 4th place in the standings. With five stages remaining, Price could be positioned to win his second Dakar. You can follow the race results HERE.

The Moto-9 Flex is the most advanced helmet we've ever made, designed to manage linear and rotational energy to the head in certain low, mid, and high-speed impacts. The Moto-9 Flex is quickly setting a new level for rider protection in motocross and off-road racing.

Since its introduction back in 1967, the Bell Star has long represented the standard in head protection. Revered as the first full-face helmet on the market, the Bell Star inspired an industry to pursue the science of head protection. That obsession with helmet innovation continues today.
