Tomorrow, Team Honda HRC races at Southwick, Massachusetts, taking on The Wick 338 for round six of the AMA Pro Motocross championship. With a pair of consecutive fourth-place finishes in previous rounds, Ken Roczen is eager to land his CRF450R back on the podium and is confident in his ability to do so, as the sandy track conditions are similar to what he trains in during the week.
Following his career-first podium finish in Tennessee, GEICO Honda's Chase Sexton hopes to improve on his individual moto results this weekend in Massachusetts to put his CRF250R on the podium once again. Teammates Cameron McAdoo and RJ Hampshire are eager to bounce back from an off race.
Marc Marquez & Dani Pedrosa
Repsol Honda's Marc Marquez arrives in Assen for the eighth round of the MotoGP Championship leading the standings by 27 points and resolved to best manage whatever situations the weekend may throw at him, with an eye on the title fight. Teammate Dani Pedrosa worked on a slightly different setup for his bike during the post-race test in Catalunya, and he is looking forward to taking a step in a positive direction. Both Repsol Honda riders have good memories from Assen, with Dani having taken his first Grand Prix win (2002 – 125cc) and Marc having celebrated victories in three classes.
Team HRC is in Indonesia to take part in the first of two back-to-back events in the Southeast Asian country, scheduled at Bangka Island's largest city Pangkal Pinang. The team will be at full capacity again, with Tim Gajser and Todd Waters riding the Honda CRF450RW in the MXGP class and Calvin Vlaanderen representing Honda Racing Corporation in the MX2 category aboard the CRF250RW.
