Salt Lake City, Utah

The Monster Energy AMA Supercross series made its penultimate stop of the year at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City and The Racers Edge/Charity Air Ambulance Honda rider Colton Aeck would continue his strong finish to the Supercross season.

Racing in daytime conditions for the second week in a row, Aeck felt right at home as he skillfully guided his The Racers Edge/Charity Air Ambulance Honda to a spot in the night show. In his heat, a tough start relegated him to 18th after the first lap which is where he would ultimately finish, leading to a trip to the Last Chance Qualifier. In the LCQ, Aeck would start 12th and finish 11th, tying his best LCQ finish of the season.

Despite his improved form, Aeck is not satisfied with being complacent and is eager to make the next step in performance. “Salt Lake went well but I want more!” said a hungry Aeck. “I know I have what it takes to be in the main but bad starts made it hard on me this weekend. I plan to work on starts and race intensity this weekend and finally put myself in a main event this weekend in Vegas!”

Aeck’s remarkable comeback season will come to a close at the Supercross season finale at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 5th. For tickets or more information, go to supercrosslive.com and catch all of the action LIVE on FOX.
