BPRMX Signs Scott Champion

Champion Returns To BPRMX For 2017

Monroe WA Oct 31th 2016 – BPRMX Home Depot Yamaha is proud to announce Scott Champion is coming back to the team for the 2017 season. Scott finished with a season best 12th overall at the San Diego round coming from dead last, then finished the season in 17th overall.

“I am very excited to be back with the Barn Pros/Home Depot/Yamaha team for 2017.” Scott Champion said, “I enjoy working with the team and look forward to seeing the results with the added amount of support we will have in 2017!"

“We are excited to have Scott back this year. He showed a lot of heart racing the start of the series with a broken tailbone last year and still putting in solid rides each and every weekend. We are looking for Scott to be one of the top 10 riders this year. With all the additional support of RJ, and our new motor build by Dasa/Bills Pipes, we feel this will give him the tools to get the job done.” said Scot Steffy Team Manager.

“I’m looking forward to working with Scott Champion in 2017. I worked with him for a short time when he was racing mini's. Its time for part 2 of our Journey.” Said Rick Johnson

BPRMX was founded by Steve Oslund out of his passion for the sport, starting back in 2010 helping local pro riders chase their dreams. In 2014 Steve helped 3 riders, all of them making main events and having different levels of success. In 2015, BPR was joined by Scot Steffy retired professional SX rider as team manager and with his help joined forces with Yamaha as a support team. Also in 2015 Steve purchased 30 acres in California and purchased their team transporter. As 2016 rolled around the team saw a jump in results finishing 14th overall in the series and having a top ten overall. It has been with hard work and the dedication of our fans and sponsors that has allowed us to build this team in the short time we have been involved in the sport.
