CYPRESS, California (January 25, 2018) - JE Pistons, the industry leader in high-performance forged and billet racing pistons, and Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing have agreed to extend their partnership and will see JE continuing to serve as the Official Piston of the JGRMX-owned organization this season and beyond.

Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing will field a squad of riders in both the 450 and 250 classes in both Monster Energy AMA Supercross and Lucas Oil Pro Motocross competition.

Veterans Weston Peick and Justin Bogle will handle riding chores in the premiere 450 Class.

Peick and Bogle will be joined by 2016 Eastern Regional 250 SX Class Champion Malcolm Stewart this weekend, after Stewart turned in a pair of solid efforts in Rounds 2 and 3 while filling in for the injured Bogle.

Defending Monster Energy Western Regional 250 SX Class Champion Justin Hill, and series' staple Phil Nicoletti, will fill out the team's 250 roster in western regional action, while Jimmy Decotis and Kyle Peters will lineup for the eastern regional rounds.

"JE Pistons is excited to be a part of Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing's efforts in 2018 and for the foreseeable future," stated Sean Crawford, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for JE Pistons. "Every race team has different engine setups and different needs, and we're proud to be able to support those needs for JGRMX and their Suzuki Factory effort. They're bringing a solid group of veteran riders to the starting gate and we're confident we'll see great results."

Peick has turned in three straight top-five finishes to start the 2018 season, and has been a mainstay at the front of the field. The 27-year-old Riverside, Calif., native sits fifth in points heading into Round 4. Bogle returns to the seat of his No. 19 Suzuki RM-Z450 after being sidelined with an injury for the first three rounds.

Hill and Nicoletti are eighth and 13th, respectively, in the current 250SX Class Championship standings.

As with all JE-sponsored teams, Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing serves as a proving ground for JE's exclusive piston designs. As part of the relationship, the team will directly benefit from the Cypress, Calif.-based organization's proprietary research and development programs.

"Being in this industry for a long time, it's so important that we align ourselves with the right partners," explained Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing Team Manager Jeremy Albrecht. "JE Pistons is an integral part of our engine program. We have relied on JE Pistons for 10 years now. We have developed a lot of great products in that time, and we feel really confident with the quality, craftsmanship and performance. JE Pistons are the pistons that the Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing Team trust."
