BOISE, Idaho – August 27, 2018 – The 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship wrapped up in Crawfordsville, IN this weekend. Having already secured the championship at Budds Creek, Monster Energy/Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha's Aaron Plessinger lined up in the Ironman mud and delivered another impressive performance, taking both moto wins. This has been a fantastic year for Plessinger, having also won the 250SX West championship earlier on.
Plessinger's teammate Justin Cooper had a breakthrough performance in his first full MX season. He secured six top 5 finishes, including 3 podiums, on his way to securing 3rd place in the overall season standings. Proving his speed, Cooper turned in the fastest qualifying times on six different occasions this year.
Dylan Ferrandis also had a successful season, taking 2 overall wins en route to an 8th place overall finish. One of his wins came with dominating 1-1 scores at Unadilla.
