BOISE, Idaho – May 7, 2018 – The 2018 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season wrapped up in Las Vegas last weekend. The stakes were high with all three championships being awarded in one night.
Monster Energy/Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha's Aaron Plessinger earned his first Supercross title, winning the 250SX West class. Plessinger needed to finish 10th or better to secure the championship. He turned in an 8th place finish in the East/West Showdown, finishing two points ahead of Adam Cianciarulo. In 10 rounds, Plessinger scored seven top-five finishes including wins in Houston, Glendale, Oakland, and Seattle.

He ended up with a 7th place finish, securing the championship by eight points. He was on the podium six times out of nine rounds, with wins coming in Arlington, St. Louis, and Foxborough.
In addition to the two 250SX championships, other Rekluse riders achieved great results.
