The 37th Annual Loretta Lynn's AMA Amateur National Motocross National Championship wrapped up this past Friday for Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's, Jalek Swoll and Husqvarna supported Rockstar Energy athlete Mike Brown. This monumental event kicked off with racing beginning Monday for both Swoll and Brown.
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Jalek Swoll participated in two classes; 250 B and Schoolboy 2 (12-17). 250 B Moto 1 got off to a solid start for Swoll as he battled for the lead continuously. He fell short towards the end finishing in second. Moto 2 and Moto 3 proved to be more successful for Swoll as he took the win in both, claiming the overall 250 B title on Friday. The Schoolboy 2 class was full of intense racing with Swoll at the forefront, finishing 2-1-2, for the overall championship win!
Husqvarna supported, Rockstar Energy athlete, Mike Brown made his way back to the Ranch. Aboard his FC 450 Rockstar Edition Brown competed in two classes, the Junior (25+) class and Senior (40+) class. He would ride consistently fast laps in the Junior (25+) class finishing in first during Moto 3, 16 seconds faster than his competitor, ultimately claiming the overall championship for the class on Friday. In true Mike Brown fashion, he would go 1-1-1 in all motos for the Senior (40+) class for his second overall championship of the event!
