Yesterday some of the most skilled motorcycle riders and fanatically spectators in the world filled a small arena in Spain for the 2015 Superprestigio DTX event. Superprestigio is a unique event on the yearly schedule, since it brings the action of dirt track racing to Europe’s road racing masses, even bringing in the participation of Marc Marquez. The multi-time MotoGP champion is no slouch on the modified Honda CRF450R, seeing how he rides one quite regularly and won in 2014, but the addition of American racers Brad Baker and Jared Mees made for an even better race this year. The battle in the main event went the distance, with Baker besting Marquez at the finish line. Dirt track is far from dead.
