Your favorite racer’s favorite racer is Adam Enticknap. The easygoing Central California privateer has become one of the most popular personalities in the pit area and it’s impossible for a fan or sponsor not to flock to the 722. Enticknap’s list of sponsors and his results in the 450 class have improved in perfect harmony with one another, evident in the support he’s now receiving from Honda, but in Oakland his career hit an all-time high. With Kyle Chisholm slated to be out for most of the 2016 Monster Energy Supercross Series, the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC team has hired Enticknap to fill-in for the necessary races.
To say that Enticknap is grateful for the opportunity would be an understatement. He knows this spot solely depends on another rider’s health and that once Chisholm is ready to return, he’ll be back to privateer status. That doesn’t stop him from hoping Chisholm a speedy recovery. Coming to the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC team meant leaving some of his sponsors for the time being, and in our quick conversation he was sure to thank them again for the support that helped him reach this point in his career.
Enticknap was one of the first guys we found in the pit area at Oakland, which was both his first race for the team and first 450 main event of the year. We’ve included his post-race interview in the video, just because it shows how excited he was to be at the track.
