It’s been an incredible to see the progress Benny Bloss has made over the course of the 2016 race season. The tall Missouri teenager seemed to struggle as a privateer in the 250 East Coast SX swing, but a jump to the BTO Sports KTM and the bigger 450 helped him advance to new levels. The progress continued outdoors, as he improved each week and was a common sight up front by the end of the summer. With these results, Bloss landed on the radar for teams in both classes and earned the 450 Rookie of the Year honors from the AMA.
Just when it seemed like Bloss would land a ride with a new group, Forrest Butler announced that his team would retain Bloss for 2017. Bloss will race a factory-supported KTM 250 SX-F during the Supercross season and will jump back to the 450 for the Nationals.
