“Who’s Bradley Taft?” We’ve heard that a few times in the last few weeks, because the CycleTrader.com/Rock River Yamaha rider has run near the front of the 250 field in his first two races as a pro. The Missouri native rode well in his final week at Loretta Lynn’s, taking the 450 A class championship, and will finish out the summer on the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

What’s bringing the immediate success? We’d have to think his training program with Gareth Swanepoel and the most of the Yamalube/Star Racing/Yamaha team is a factor, as he spends each day riding alongside newly crowned 250 MX National champ Cooper Webb, Aaron Plessinger, and Mitchell Harrison. After the motos at Budds Creek, where 14-12 scores put him thirteenth overall, we spent a few minutes discussing the new chapter in his career.
