What a summer for Christian Craig. After deciding that life away from racing wasn’t what he wanted, Craig resigned from his position at his father-in-law’s construction company and dedicated his time to coming back to the professional scene, thanks to a fill-in gig at GEICO Honda. Since his first event at Thunder Valley a few short months ago, Craig has stayed in the front pack through almost every moto and has solidified his status as one of the most talented riders in the field. When we spoke at Budds Creek, Craig stated that this is simply the beginning of a new chapter in his career and that he hoped to land a ride with the team for 2016. Shortly after the RedBud round, it was announced that Craig and GEICO Honda had agreed to a full-time contract, which will put Craig in the 250 class for both Monster Energy Supercross and the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.
