It was announced just last week that Davi Millsaps has officially retired from professional motocross racing following a serious head injury that he sustained during the offseason. Millsaps’ 2018 season was looking bright, as he just signed with Monster Energy/Knich/Yamaha Factory Racing, but shortly after took a hard hit while practicing at the Yamaha test track for the upcoming Supercross season. The #18 sustained a serious head injury during the crash and was left with a number of lasting effects, which have ultimately lead to his early retirement. Fortunately, we had a chance to catch up with Millsaps at this weekend’s 2018 San Diego Supercross, so check out what his plans are for the future.
