If you’ve ever been to a Lucas Oil Pro Motocross National, then you probably noticed how busy the mechanics stay under the factory awnings and even in the privateer pits. From setting up the rig to breaking down the race bikes, motocross mechanics undoubtedly work for every single dollar they earn, as their job seemingly never ends. On race day, though it’s a whole different kind of busy for these guys, so we checked in with Team Geico Honda’s Derik Dwyer to get a better idea of their extensive amount of duties necessary for a day at the races.
