The Honda CRF150R is the sole four-stroke in the mini classes, and though it is not competitive out of the crate, the Amsoil Honda team – led by engine builder Christian Kibby – has developed theirs into a fire-breathing Supermini. With Carson Mumford transitioning to big bikes, the vacancy was filled by Murrieta’s Hunter Yoder, a rider we know well thanks to his regular appearances at the TWMX Race Series. We sat down with the personable 13-year-old this weekend to see what makes the Yoder 508 race effort tick.
