There’s no denying the Monster Energy/Yamalube/Star/Yamaha Factory Racing team has had an up-and-down year, as nearly all of their riders have been injured at some point during the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross Series. One member of that unfortunate group of riders is Justin Cooper, as he suffered a concussion, nine broken ribs, and three broken transverse processes (the extensions on the side of a vertebra that muscles and ligaments attach to) during qualifying at the Houston. Now back on the bike, Justin is riding well as he prepares to make his return to racing in the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.
