Livia Lancelot is a bad ass on a dirt bike, no doubt about it. She was the first FIM Women’s World Motocross Champion back in 2008, and after a short hiatus from the circuit, she made her return to the championship hunt. However, heartbreak hit last year when she was battling for another world title with Kiara Fontanesi, and a mechanical failure on the sight lap in Loket put an end to her 2015 title dreams. That all changed for 2016, though, as Lancelot podiumed every race and took home the top honors at the end of the 2016 season. For Livia, it was definitely a sweet victory, and we sat down with the 2016 FIM Women’s World Motocross Champion to talk about her win, and the sport as a whole.
